Altered Ecuador 2024 Copa America Kit to Apply with FIFA Equipment Rules
As visible in a friendly of Ecuador's youth national team, the Marathon Ecuador 2024 home kit has been modified with a yellow box on the back. This alteration aims to ensure compliance with official FIFA Equipment Regulations, which are used by CONMEBOL for the upcoming Copa America.
The box even has ventilation holes
The original Ecuador 2024 Copa America home kit features a yellow front and navy back, a duo-color look that is forbidden by FIFA. With the yellow box, the back is now considered as mainly yellow.
It remains to be seen if we will see this exact fix in the 2024 Copa América or if Ecuador will come up with a more professional all-yellow back for the Copa. The current box has ventilation holes and appears to be very professionally added.
