Should Nike Bring Back Total 90 Ball for 2024-25 Premier League Season?

  • Nike and Premier League Partnership End: Nike's 25-year partnership with the Premier League concludes at the end of the 2024-25 season.
  • Total 90 Ball History: The Nike Total 90 ball was used in the Premier League from 2004-2011, with the Aerow I version being particularly memorable.
  • Re-Release Unlikely: Despite fan interest, a re-release of the Total 90 ball for the 2024-25 season is unlikely due to a prior remake in 2019.

As is known, Nike is set to end its 25-year partnership with the Premier League at the end of the 2024-25 season. Is next season the best time for Nike to bring back the iconic Total 90 ball?

Nike Premier League Total 90 Ball

The Total 90 ball was supplied by Nike during the Premier League from 2004-2011 with five generations: Aerow I, Aerow II, Moni, Ascente and Tracer.

The most memorable is probably the Total 90 Aerow I Hi-vis ball used in the 04-04 and 05-06 seasons.

The Nike Total 90 ball seems to have left its mark on all Premier League fans. So if Nike re-releases the Total 90 ball for the 24-25 season, it will be a beautiful farewell to the Premier League after 25 years.

However, in 2019 Nike also launched the Hi-Vis Total 90 Aerow 2004-05 remake ball. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that Nike will re-release the iconic T90 ball for the 2024-25 season.
