Chelsea 24-25 Away Kit Evokes Memories of Iconic Barcelona Kit Worn by Ronaldinho
The new Chelsea 2024-25 away kit bears some resemblance to one of their opponents' kits from 20 years ago - the Nike Barcelona 2003-05 alternative kit.

Both the Chelsea 2024-25 and Barcelona 2004-05 away kits have a gold main color. It is not known if Nike intended to use a similar color to the old Barcelona kit. However, it would make sense.

The goldish Barcelona kit was worn in what was one of Chelsea's and Champions League's most remarkable games ever.
The Chelsea vs. Barcelona match was played on March 8, 2005. Ronaldinho scored a brilliant goal in this game, but in the end, it was a successful game for Chelsea, who beat Barcelona 5-4 on aggregate, going down well in the club's history.
The 2024-25 season will mark the 20th anniversary of the match
Of course, the Nike Barcelona 2004-05 and Chelsea 2024-25 Chelsea away kit have various differences. The new Chelsea kit has more of a reddish gold (called "Guava Ice"), while the Barcelona kit has no reddish touch for the gold.
