Gorgeous: 2 Palmeiras 23-24 Special Kits Released
Brazilian top club Palmeiras and Puma have teamed up to launch a unique limited-edition shirt to support the Pink October and Blue November cancer awareness campaigns.
Pink October and Blue November are global awareness campaigns for breast cancer and prostate cancer, respectively. They are held each year during the corresponding months to raise awareness of the diseases, encourage early detection and diagnosis, and support those affected by cancer.
Puma Palmeiras 2023-24 Cancer Awareness Player Kit
The Puma Palmeiras 2023-24 cancer awareness players shirt has a striking design with the left side in sky blue and the right side in pink, separated by brush strokes.
The collar of the Palmeiras 23-24 cancer awareness players shirt is V-shaped with a triangular detail on the front in white, which also appears on the cuffs, shield, Puma logos, and sponsorships.
Puma Palmeiras 2023-24 Cancer Awareness Goalkeeper Kit
A special kit has also been launched that will be used by goalkeepers. The Puma Palmeiras 2023-24 Cancer Awareness Goalkeeper Kit is mainly white with a more subtle pink and blue gradient brushstroke design.
Oddly, the brushstroke design of the goalkeeper's shirt was almost invisible in the real-life picture of the presentation, letting us first think there would be a third, blank white kit. It remains to be seen how visible the gradient looks on the field but it will likely look almost like a white shirt.
The Puma Palmeiras Cancer Awareness kits are not available to buy regularly. Instead, the sale of shirts will only take place through a digital auction, which will take place from November 1st. All proceeds will go to AC Camargo, a reference institution for cancer treatment in Brazil.
