Hummel 23-24 Equality Shirts Released - Everton, Betis, Köln, Southampton, Las Palmas, Coventry and Brøndby
Danish sportswear brand Hummel today launched special-edition Equality jerseys in collaboration with seven international football clubs to celebrate its 100th anniversary and promote equality and inclusivity in sports. The participating clubs include Real Betis, Las Palmas, Everton, Southampton, Coventry City, FC Köln, and Brøndby IF.
The Equality Jersey draws inspiration from the iconic Denmark '86 jersey and features a vibrant design aimed at raising awareness and inspiring positive change.
“This jersey is more than just a piece of sportswear; it’s a symbol of our enduring commitment to equality and unity. Equality is a cornerstone of our brand's ethos, and we are immensely proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with seven of our biggest football clubs to promote this important agenda,” said Hummel CEO, Allan Vad Nielsen.
As part of the campaign, the participating clubs will wear the Equality Jersey as their warm-up shirt for home games this weekend or next, making a powerful statement of unity and inclusivity. Additionally, the clubs will engage in various activities dedicated to advancing the cause of equality, such as selling or auctioning the jerseys worn during the campaign to support local equality-focused projects.
The limited-edition Hummel Equality jerseys were launched for purchase online on the participating clubs' platforms starting on September 26th at 10AM.
