When Club and Country Kit Colors Match - Ft. Haaland, Kroos, Semedo & More
Football players do not choose their clubs by kit colors, but sometimes, their clubs wear the same colors as their national team. It may seem like a minor detail, but for fans, it can be a striking sight to see their favorite players wearing their national colors on the field for their club.
When Club Kits Match National Team Colors
Some of the well-known examples include Toni Kroos, who wears white for Real Madrid and Germany, Kylian Mbappe, who dons navy, red, and white for PSG and France, and Mo Salah, who wears red for Liverpool and Egypt. But there are also more unusual matches that catch the eye.
In the 23-24 season, three players stood out for wearing unusual colors for their countries. Wout Weghorst wear orange for Hoffenheim and the Netherlands (yeap, Hoffenheim have an orange kit in 23-24), Gonzalo Montiel joined Nottingham who got a very unusual "Argentina-colored" kit, and Nelson Semedo, with re Wolves' red and green Portugal-esque kit.

Haaland's sky blue Norway x Man City match was only for pre-match, but it still caught our attention.
It's not as if players choose their clubs based on the colors, but seeing them wear their country's colors on the field is always a special moment.
