Atlético Madrid Announce Riyadh Air Main Kit Sponsor Deal
Riyadh Air, a new Saudi Arabian airline, and Spanish soccer club Atlético de Madrid have announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement.
Atlético Madrid Sign Riyadh Air Shirt Sponsorship Deal
Riyadh Air will become the main sponsor of the Spanish club. It hasn't been announced how much money Atlético get from Riyadh Air every year. They are rumored to pay a bit more than Amber Group (WhaleFin) did - around 45 million Euro/season. WhaleFin could remain the club's training sponsor.
For the Atlético home kit, the sponsor logo is dark blue with a white border; for the away the colors are the opposite.
The Atlético x Riyadh Air partnership promises to "create better experiences for fans around the world", according to Atlético de Madrid CEO Miguel Ángel Gil. He also said, "I am confident that this alliance with Riyadh Air will take our club to new heights."
Riyadh Air will start flights only in 2025
Riyadh Air's Chief Executive Tony Douglas added, "With this agreement, we are once again surprising the world as we move towards our inaugural flight in 2025."

The value of the sponsorship deal was not disclosed. Riyadh Air, which is owned by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), will start flights in 2025.
