Snake-Skin Like: New Maccabi Haifa Adidas Home Kit Released

Update: Adidas and Maccabi Haifa released today morning their new 2023-24 home kit. The away and third kits will be released soon.

It's a very simple and template-y design (Tiro 23 Competition Match) but it does preserve the club's heritage and celebrates their DNA, the green color. Hopefully, their away and Third designs will be much more interesting.

The kit is based on a green body with the AEROREADY technology, along with white breathable mesh panels on the sides of the shirt to give the players optimal comfort and allows them to achieve the best performance on the field.

The highlight of the shirt is the pattern part of the fabric of the shirt, similar to a snake's skin, for an elegant and impressive look that will highlight the players and the team's pride.

Their GK design has also been leaked by the club itself and it will be released soon.

Israeli Premier League champions, Maccabi Haifa will switch from Nike to Adidas from the 2023-24 season.

Nike has been with the club for several different time periods but on the most recent one, has been with Maccabi Haifa since the 2011-12 season.

The new agreement with Adidas should be will be financially better as the club was on this season's UEFA Champions League group stage, giving it more visibility and importance from a European football fan point of view.

MACCABI & NIKE HOME KIT HISTORY

Signing with Adidas is a positive move for the club in a bid to distance themselves from the basic templates they got from Nike and hoping they get more customization options with the German brand, as they did last time their partnership existed.

However, one Nike design stands out as the perfect application of a template in the club´s history.

During the '80s and '90s, there were several Adidas shirts of the club.

The club has already teased two Adidas products, one lifestyle t-shirt, and one Champions t-shirt but no official kits were leaked or released.

From next season, the German sportswear brand will have two teams in the Israeli Premier League, Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
