Bayern Munich Extend Allianz Deal Until 2033

Bundesliga outfit, Bayern Munich will continue their long-term partnership with Allianz as the club announced a new 10-year deal with the insurance company. Already in collaboration since 2000, both parties are set to go on another journey until 2033.

Bayern Munich x Allianz Extend Partnership for 10 More Years

Allianz started out as one of Bayern’s partners before turning into one of their most important collaborators as they get the naming rights for the club’s stadium. The new deal also means that the company will keep the club’s stadium name right for at least the next 10 years while also continuing to become the main shirt sponsor for the women’s team.

Bayern Munich men’s team do have Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile) as their main kit sponsor but the women are being sponsored by Allianz since the 2013/24 season. The German-based company has become an iconic name of the Bavarians ground since 2005 which saw them achieving plenty of success during those years.

At first, Bayern were sharing the stadium with TSV 1860 Munich but FC Hollywood eventually control 100% of Allianz Arena’s share on April 25, 2008, following an agreement between all parties.

Bayern Expect More Success and Innovative Future Projects with Allianz

Commenting about the contract extension, Bayern’s CEO, Oliver Kahn reveals his joy to continue their partnership with Allianz whilst hoping they can achieve more success and develop new ideas. “FC Bayern places great value on reliable, continual partnerships. We’re therefore very happy to continue our cooperation with Allianz. We can look back on a joint success story of over 20 years, to which we want to add more chapters with new and innovative ideas,” Khan said.

Meanwhile, Allianz Head of Global Brand & Marketing Christian Deuringer, also admits that the partnership with Bayern have also given them plenty of benefits. “FC Bayern and Allianz have enjoyed a successful and trustful partnership for over 20 years. Thanks to FC Bayern’s huge reach and inspiring content, we reach many millions of fans around the world,” Deuringer revealed.

Both parties will be hoping that the next 10 years can bring them at least a similar amount of success not only for the men’s team but also women and the junior sector. Moreover, aside from sponsoring the women’s team, Allianz also launched a special program, called the Ready Coach, which is a free financial coaching program for female athletes between the age of 18 to 22.
