PSG are set to release books about the club and players' history after announcing a collaboration with France-based publisher, Editions Amphora.

The PSG x Amphora partnership will see the independent publisher, handling the club's related books for the next five years starting from 2023.

In their official statement, the Paris-based outfit are hoping their new collaboration will provide fans with in-depth and exclusive stories about the club, coaches, and players.

The decision to choose Amphora is because of the publisher's proven track record and focus on publishing quality sports-related books, including football.

Since being founded in 1974, Amphora have continued to grow and becomes one of the leaders in sports book publishing in France. The publisher have also released several PSG-related books in the past, although it's not under an exclusive deal with the club.

There is no information if PSG will also bring out a book about the kit history of the club and the iconic Hechter deign, but we deeply hope so.

PSG Following Barcelona Footstep

Les Parisiens' decision to embark on a collaboration with a book published seems to follow the footsteps of Barcelona.  The La Liga giant recently strike a partnership with Spanish publisher, Grupo Planeta to create Barca Books.

Commenting about the collaboration, PSG's Head of Brand Identity, Emmanuel Cherki, reveals his confidence in how it's an important step for them. Cherki believes that the Red and Blues have grown into a desirable brand for the new generation

"Without ever having denied their history, Paris Saint-Germain are today an emblematic and desirable brand, the club of the new generation for all those who like to dream," Cherki said.

That statement is certainly not too far-fetched as ever since the takeover process by Qatar Sports Investment in 2011, PSG's popularity have continuously grown. Recent superstar signings such as Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and the latest one, Lionel Messi have certainly put them among the most famous clubs with millions of followers on social media.
