No 3 Stars Kit Released Yet: Adidas Celebrate Argentina 2022 World Cup Title

In an extremely exciting 2022 World Cup final, Argentina beat France after penalties to win their third World Cup title. Quickly after the triumph, Adidas celebrated the country's (and Leo Messi's) long-awaited victory while the most important product is still missing...

Adidas Change Profile Picture & Launch Messi Picture to Celebrate Argentina's 3rd World Cup Title

Adidas Football changed their profile picture on social media to commemorate the title win of Argentina, while they also released a very short video + wallpaper showing Leo Messi celebrating the title with Messis from the previous World Cups.

Argentina 3-Star Kit Not Revealed/Launched Yet

However, unlike what was the case after Germany's 2014 World Cup title, Adidas did not yet launch or even reveal the Argentina 3-star kit.

Argentina's kit is sold out worldwide

What might be the problem for Adidas is that all Argentina 2022 World Cup kits are sold out globally. In addition, all sports brands have had delivery problems for almost three years now, meaning that it might be harder for Adidas to produce extra Argentina kits.

On the other side, Adidas have serious problems with having produced too many products in the past few months. The company warned some weeks ago that unsold goods are piling up. So it seems only logical that they did not want to produce too many Argentina kits, or to even produce a 3-star Argentina kit in advance (they produced 5,000 Germany 4-Star kits in 2014 in advance).

Adidas have problems with hundreds of thousands unsold products, but Argentina's kit is totally sold out

Nike Accidentally Renamed Kit to 3-Star Kit on Saturday

Nike apparently had already prepared to launch the France 3-star kit directly after the final. The Swoosh accidentally put the "France 3-Star jersey" on sale on Saturday (even though the pictures still featured the 2-star jersey and only the product name was changed...).

Argentina Show Off (Temporary?) 3-Star Badge After Title

The Argentine Football Association released a three-star version of their crest after the title. It remains to be seen if this will be the official 3-Star AFA Crest for the next few years or if it was only for the triumph. We expect another one to be launched.

Stay tuned as we hope to receive more info about the Adidas Argentina 2022 World Cup 3-Star Kit.
