FIFA Legends Wear Hidden Arsenal & Real Madrid Kits

On Monday night, a special match between 24 workers and the FIFA Legends took place in Qatar as part of the 2022 World Cup program. What caught our interest were the kits worn by both teams.

Adidas just might have some shirts left

Disguised Arsenal 21-22 Away Kit & Real Madrid 21-22 Third Kit Used in FIFA Legends Match

The kits worn by both teams were actually disguised kits of Arsenal and Real Madrid.

Rather than providing the teams with standard teamwear jerseys, Adidas came up with something special. They gave the teams the Arsenal 21-22 away kit and the Real Madrid 21-22 third kit but without club specific brandings.

Both teams wore "replica" kits

Instead of the Adidas logo on the right chest, the kits featured the FIFA logo. Instead of the club crests on the left chest, the kits feature the "Generation Amazing" logo.

Both kits did not feature any sponsor logos. Interestingly, both Arsenal and Real Madrid are sponsored by Emirates.

The shorts were also those of Arsenal and Real Madrid, while the socks were standard teamwear.

The goalkeeper jerseys were also standard teamwear - this time the Adidas Squadra GK 21.

It is not known why Adidas provided the teams with unbranded Arsenal and Real Madrid jerseys. They might have a few shirts left and decided it would be a nice idea to rebrand them as FIFA Legends kits.
