All-New Wexford FC Logo Released - No More FC Torino-Inspired Logo
Irish club Wexford FC recently launched an all-new visual identity, including a completely revamped club crest.
Wexford Football Club is a semi-professional Irish football club from the Irish city of Wexford, founded in 2007 as Wexford Youths. They currently play in the League of Ireland First Division, the second-tier league of Ireland.

The new Wexford FC logo is totally different from the previous crest, except for the overall shape. It both has a new color scheme and new crest elements.
According to Wexford, the "new crest incorporates all that makes our club and home county great".
The previous crest was inspired by the Italian club Torino
The three pikes, which nod to the 1798 Rebellion, combine to form a W. The new color scheme of purple and gold harks back to the land owners of the 17th and 18th centuries, who were great sporting patrons.
In case you were wondering that represented the previous logo - The rampant bull was inspired by the crest of FC Torino. The club's founder Mick Wallace decided to change the crest to pay homage to his favorite Italian club.
Wexford 2022 Home & Away Kits
Wexford's first-ever kits with the new logo are expected to be launched in early 2023.
