The Kit of October 2022 vote confirms that Japan's pink and green special-edition jersey is one of the most controversial kits of the year. It has been also voted the third-best Kit of October 2022.

Our selection for the Worst Kit of October 2022 includes nine shirts. Many look bad already at first glance (pink LASK, Albirex Niigata 2023 away, volt/navy Melbourne Victory), while others are bad because they are too standard and/or based on old templates (Al Ahly, Olympiakos, Barrow).
The possibly most controversial shirt released in October 2022 is Japan's special-edition kit. We decided to include the pink/green shirt both in the selection of the Best & Worst Kits of October 2022.
