Napoli Forced to Remove Blue Sleeves of 22-23 Away Kit by UEFA?
Napoli will be wearing a pretty strange kit in the UEFA Champions League away against Rangers tonight. It was already debuted in the UEFA Youth League match against Glasgow Rangers this afternoon.
UEFA seem to take their kit rules more strict than ever before.
While there is no official news about the Napoli 22-23 "European" away kit, it seems pretty likely that UEFA forced EA7/Napoli to have this kit. There is no blue on the sleeves - similar to Inter's case of their modified 22-23 away kit.
The reason for no blue on the sleeves is the "dark/light" kit rule. The blue sleeves would "clash" with the blue of Rangers' home kit. UEFA seem to take it more seriously than ever before.
Napoli 22-23 European away Kit
This is the new EA7 Napoli european away football shirt for 2022-23.
The EA7 SSC Napoli 2022-23 european away football shirt is the same as the well-known away jersey with one change - it has grey raglan cut sleeves instead of blue ones. The sleeves still feature a gradual fade towards the sleeve cuffs.
The EA7 logo on the right chest is black and Lete's sponsor logo is red for European games. Additionally, Napoli's second front-of-shirt-sponsor is missing. This is also because of UEFA rules that only allow one main sponsor.
Blue shorts and white socks round off the look of the new Napoli 2022-23 european away uniform by EA7.
What do you think of UEFA certainly forcing EA7/SSC Napoli's to make this change to their away kit? Comment below.
