England Will Wear Away Shirt At Home Against Germany Tonight

England will face Germany in their last Nations League match of this year tonight at Wembley Stadium in London. Interestingly, the Three Lions decided to wear their new away jersey in a real test before the World Cup begins in late November.

The Nike England national football team 2022 away jersey is red, combined with navy and light blue for logos and design elements. It is the first mainly red England away shirt since the 2018 World Cup.

Interestingly, England also wore a red football shirt against Germany when they won their one and only real international trophy in 1966 against none other than Germany at Wembley Stadium. On the other hand, England's recent run of form is very poor since they were not able to win for 5 games in a row now leading up to the World Cup later this year and pressure on Gareth Southgate is currently increasing at a rapid rate.

Funnily enough, the star above the crest on the England 2022 World Cup away shirt is fully red so it will not be visible from afar on top of a red background.
