Bayern München to extend Deutsche Telekom Deal

Kings of the long-running shirt sponsorship deal, Bayern München, will reportedly prolong their agreement with Deutsche Telekom until the end of the 25-26 season, earning the club around €50 million a season. Sport Bild say the deal with be announced in the coming days. Their partnership began 20 years ago in the 02-03 season.

The logo worn on the chest was initially that of T-Mobile, then T-Com and T-Home, all subsidiaries or divisions of Deutsche Telekom. Since the 10-11 season, the suffix has been dropped and they've had just the letter T with one dot on the left and three on the right.

This logo has since been updated to a more symmetrical iteration with just one dot on either side of the T, but Bayern's 22-23 kits still feature the old logo as they had already been printed before the logo was changed. Before Deutsche Telekom, Bayern had long-lasting sponsorship deals with Opel, Iveco and Commodore.
