Bruno Fernandes Becomes Manchester United's New No. 8, Malacia Gets Shirt Number 12
Manchester United just confirmed that Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes will get his beloved number 8 after Juan Mata left the club earlier this summer. Bruno Fernandes is accustomed to wearing shirt number 8 for club and country, and wore number 18 for Manchester United up until now.

Fernandes previously played for Udinese Calcio and Sporting Lisbon where he wore number 8, and he does so for Portugal since 2018. Additionally, Fernandes has a number eight tattoo on his right arm.
Previous Manchester United players to wear number 8 include Paul Ince, Juan Mata, Anderson and Wayne Rooney.
In other news, new signing Tyrell Malacia will wear number 12 for Manchester United.
