The 2022-2023 season sees the return of sand gold football kits, it has been spotted by @KITmagazine_. We take a closer look at the sand-colored kits of the 22-23 season.
Ajax, Barcelona, Chelsea & More: Sand Soccer Jerseys Of 22-23 Season
The new away/third kits of several big teams feature a sand golden main color - AFC Ajax, FC Barcelona, and Chelsea FC. This evokes memories of the kits of the 2000s, when many teams had sand golden kits.
In terms of the exact shade of color, each kit is a bit different. Those of Adidas x Ajax ("Savann") and Nike x Chelsea (Sesame) are very sandy, Barcelona's is a true gold ('Club Gold'), while Club America's kit is more a light yellow (Lemon Chiffon).

It remains to be seen if more clubs will have a sand-colored kit in the 22-23 season, and if smaller teams will jump on the bandwagon of sand kits.
Ajax 22-23 Third Kit
The main color of the Adidas Ajax 22-23 third shirt is "Savann". It is a sand-colored shade that looks almost like gold.
Chelsea 2022-23 Third Kit
The Nike Chelsea 2022-2023 third jersey combines a 'Sesame' (gold) base with black and orange.
FC Barcelona 22-23 Away Kit
The FC Barcelona 22-23 away shirt has a gold base color, bringing back memories of the early 2000s. All logos are dark navy.
Club América 22-23 Home Kit
The Nike Club America 22-23 home jersey combines a pale yellow with blue applications. The pale yellow color is the same used for previous home shirts of the club - officially called "Lemon Chiffon".
FC Porto 22-23 Away Kit
The NB FC Porto 2022-23 away shirt is mainly a pale shade of yellow, using a graphic that could be inspired by New Balance's old logo. Golden yellow lines originating from the right of the shirt get thinner towards the middle, angled slightly downwards.
