Charlton Athletic Join Castore - No More Hummel

Yesterday it was announced by League One club Charlton Athletic that they would be leaving Hummel for Castore. The British brand will become the club's official kit and retail partner.

After five years with Hummel, Charlton Athletic will be switching outfitters, moving on to Castore, who have already gained so many sponsorship deals this year.

The partnership will be a multi-year deal, which will see Castore revamp Charlton's club shop as well as the online store.

Castore have so far only delivered kits to top-flight clubs across Europe, so it is interesting to see them become active in lower tiers of football. Perhaps more deals like this one will follow.
