Adidas Dominate South American Clubs & National Teams
Adidas and Nike are by far the most popular football brands in the world. With their latest deals, it appears like that the Three Stripes brand Adidas want to become the most important football brand in South America.

Adidas secure Chile and Peru
From January 2023, Adidas will supply four of the ten CONMEBOL national teams. Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru. Adidas secured Chile in 2021 from Nike and will supply Peru from 2023, instead of Marathon Sports.

Adidas are also the leading supplier in the Copa Libertadores, the South American "Champions League". They make the kits for six teams, including giants Boca Juniors, Flamengo, and River Plate.
Puma are on the same level as Nike in terms of contracts

Nike, meanwhile, have a small presence in the South American football market in 2022, with the exception of the Brazilian national football team. Apart from the Seleção, the Swoosh supply Corinthians, Allianz Lima, Club Olimpia and Red Bull Bragatino (to be replaced by New Balance).
Nike's operations in several South American countries are managed by sub-licensees
In fact, in early 2020, Nike announced that their operations in several South American countries would be managed by sub-licensees.
Puma's presence in South America is on a similar level as Nike's. Puma supply Paraguay and Urugugay as well as four 2022 Copa Libertadores teams - Palmeiras, Club Libertad, Peñarol, and Cerro Porteño.
There are very many small brands active in South America's football market but none are near Adidas, Nike, or Puma. Marathon, Umbro and Le Coq Sportif are possibly the most important ones.
