Palace 2022 'Renaissance' Football Shirts Released
Skateboarding brand Palace are no strangers to football-inspired clothing, having collaborated with Adidas and Juventus in the past, as well as releasing several football style jerseys under their own name. Their latest drop on Friday April 1st is set to feature two more football shirts with an attention grabbing renaissance artwork print.

Check out the designs below.
The London based brand have used a generic 90s football shirt template with a polo collar and underarm panels. The Palace logo is on the left of the chest while a Badge featuring the colours of the French flag is placed on the right. The french translation of the brand’s name is written in place of a central sponsor logo.
The French theme is most obvious in the graphic print of a Renaissance painting which covers the front and back of the shirts. The same painting is used on both shirts, one in its original colours with a blue sky featuring prominently, the other with an overall purple tint.
The back of the shirt again has the word “vision” in place of a player’s name with the number 8 underneath. “Palasonic” features on the bottom as a sponsor logo. Panasonic famously sponsored Marseille and Gamba Osaka in the 90s, with the shirts they sponsored going on to become some of the most sought-after by kit collectors.
The brand’s collaborations with Adidas naturally gave us some football pieces, but Palace have been releasing their own takes on football jerseys for years. Playing with iconic brand names and pop cultural references is a staple of their football shirt designs, more of which you can see below.
Football’s influence in fashion and streetwear continues, and Palace seem more than happy about it.
