Rashford Trains in Next-Gen Nike Zoom Mercurial Superfly 9 Boots
The next-gen Nike Zoom Mercurial Superfly 9 boots have a very interesting upper structure and the already traditional collar. We have no info yet on the concrete tech features yet.
Kylian Mbappé was spotted wearing blackout boots in PSG training this week, giving us a first look at what in all likelihood is the next generation of the Nike Mercurial.
As reported by us a few days ago, the next-gen Mercurials will be called Nike Zoom Mercurial Superfly 9 / Zoom Mercurial Vapor 15. The boots, which are set to debut in June / July, could take inspiration from the Air Zoom Mercurial concept that was shown off by Nike back in February of 2020.
Not much can be said about the boots worn by Mbappé in training so far, but they do certainly look like Superflys.
The pictures don't have great detail, but a standout feature is a subtle line structure, most visible on the inside rear of the right boot.
