The Arsenal TfL collection includes the tube set-inspired pre-match top, both in short and long sleeved versions, as well as a padded vest and trackpants.

The Arsenal tube station celebrates its 90-years anniversary next year

Transport for London (TfL) is a local government body responsible for most of the transport network in London, England.

The Adidas TfL Arsenal pre-match jersey incorporates a graphic inspired by the iconic seat pattern of the London tube. The kit is mainly light royal blue, the same color as the seats base.

The pre-match jersey is available with short and long sleeves - perfect for the winter and early spring.

On the back under the collar sits a custom logo inspired by the London Underground symbol. Indeed, the Adidas TfL jersey likely celebrates the 90-years anniversary of the Arsenal tube station.

"Arsenal" is the only tube station named directly after a football club

The Arsenal tube station is a London Underground station located in Highbury, London. Originally known as Gillespie Road, it was renamed in 1932 after Arsenal Football Club, who at the time played at the nearby Highbury Stadium.

The Arsenal tube station is the only tube station named directly after a football club. Although Highbury Stadium closed in 2006, the station retains its name and is still used by spectators attending matches at Arsenal's nearby Emirates Stadium.

The Arsenal x Transport for London pre-match jersey and collection were finally launched on January 20, 2021, two weeks later than initially planned.

It is not the first time that Adidas cooperate with Transport for London (TfL). In 2018, Adidas released three TfL-inspired sneakers to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Oyster card.
