2021-22 Bundesliga Esports Shirts Overview
As the Virtual Bundesliga season started this week, we wanted to take a look at the jerseys that are worn by the participating clubs.
Virtual Bundesliga
Since Esports competitions have gained in popularity amongst professional football clubs over the past few years, most of them now have their own Esports teams. This is also the case in the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, where clubs with an Esports department can compete in the Virtual Bundesliga. These teams of course wear outfits to represent their Bundesliga clubs, most receiving their own shirts, which often differ quite significantly from the official jerseys.
Some are also simply based on regular teamwear, while others utilize the existing football jerseys. The only big German clubs to not be on-board with the trend are Bayern and Dortmund.
