Awesome: Leeds United 21-22 Kit Font Debuted - Cup Only
Update: Leeds United faced League One side Crewe Alexandra in the EFL Cup last night (3-0 win). For us, the most interesting aspect of the match was to see the new Leeds 2021-2022 cup kit font in action which without a doubt elevates a very average Leeds United 21-22 home jersey.
Premier League team Leeds United have caught the attention of kit nerds (thanks to @TobysKits) in pre-season by wearing a new custom jersey typeface.
Leeds will wear the font in the EFL Cup & the FA Cup
After finishing ninth in the 21-22 Premier League season, Leeds will not play in any European competition. They will wear the custom kit font the EFL Cup and the FA Cup.
Leeds United 21-22 Kit Typeface
Leeds' 21-22 kit typeface boasts a modern thin look with angular corners. On the bottom of the typeface is the Leeds crest
What makes the font fitting the kit greatly are the colors - the numbers are electricity yellow with a navy border, the letters are navy.
The kit font Leeds will wear in the Premier League does not fit the jersey greatly - it is totally black.
Unfortunately, the custom Leeds United 21-22 kit font is not available to buy in the club's online store (yet). The Premier League typeface costs you 19 Euro.
