The entire Bundesliga 2021-22 broadcast package has undergone a big change, introducing not just a unique new scoreboard but also new replay transitions.
The concept behind the updated visuals was explained in a two-minute video. The large 'scorecards', which are quite different from the previous design that was more in line with what we see around the various leagues, are inspired by classic stadium scores, which can be seen at the start of the video.
