Sheffield Wednesday Announce Macron Kit Deal - Mo More 'Bizarre' In-House Kits
Sheffield Wednesday today announced a new long-term partnership with Macron. The Italian brand will make the club's kits for the 2021-22 League One season and further campaigns.
Sheffield Wednesday have been making their kits in-house in the past couple of years - the jerseys featured the logo of Elev8, which is owned by Sheffield Wednesday's owner Chansiri.
Macron to Make Sheffield Wednesday Jerseys From 2021-22
Macron will supply the Owls’ official kit and training wear, with the deal commencing from 1 July 2021.
Macron Chief Executive Gianluca Pavanello said: “We are so proud that such a historical club like Sheffield Wednesday has chosen to wear the Macron Hero.
“These are the elements of our philosophy and we found them in this club that carries on its shoulders over 150 years of sporting history. Our apparel incorporates this heritage, the tradition, emotion and the sentiment of belonging to both the players and fans alike.”
Owls Chief Operating Officer Liam Dooley added: “We are thrilled to officially announce Macron as our new Official Technical Kit Partner. Macron are renowned for the design and quality of their kits and we are really excited about the striking new range for the 2021/22 season.
