Many Players Wear Their Socks Very Low In Euro 2020

The age of individualism is on the rise in top-flight football, Melissa Reddy wrote for GQ in early 2021. This also means that more players start to wear long-sleeve jerseys, and more players are rolling down their socks. Many also do so in Euro 2020.

In the 20th century, very many have been wearing low socks, while in the past few years the trend to low socks returned. Low socks also mean that players have to wear very small shin guards, as many do anyhow.

Players With Low Socks In Euro 2020

Italy's Lorenzo Insigne was the first player who caught our attention wearing low socks in Euro 2020, followed by the likes of Thiago Alcantara, Memphis Depay, and Presnel Kimpembe.

You can check out more current and former players with low socks in an article we wrote back in January.
