Update: Confirming the previous rumors, Betis earlier today announced that they have signed a kit deal with Hummel. As part of the agreement, Hummel will produce Betis' kits for the next five seasons, starting in 22-23.

Hummel Replace Kappa After Four Years

The 21-22 season was Kappa's last as Real Betis kit makers as the four-year contract signed in 2018 came to an end.

Hummel already had been making Betis' kits between 1987 and 1990.

Ramón Alarcón, General Director of Business at Real Betis, wanted to welcome hummel: "Real Betis will once again wear the hummel logo in a clear commitment to quality and growth. We wanted to provide the best service to our athletes and our fans hand in hand with a leading brand with which we share many values. In addition, We are witnessing a change in the model through the direct management of the stores by the Club, which will result in an increase in our income and in the offer of better products and services to all Betis."
Allan Vad Nielsen, CEO of hummel, said: "Real Betis is a fantastic club with a long history and great fans. From the moment we first met with the entity it was obvious that there was a great connection between us, not only because of our shared history, but also because of the potential of what we could achieve together. The Club had a fantastic season last year, with the Copa del Rey triumph being the highlight, and we can't wait to build on that momentum and be part of this exciting journey together with all the fans."

Hummel currently make the kits for Spanish first division teams CA Osasuna and Elche as well as for second division teams Tenerife, Lugo, and UD Las Palmas.
