Next-Gen Adidas X Speedflow Prototype Boots Leaked
In Summer 2021, Adidas will release the heavily updated next-generation Adidas X, the Adidas X Speedflow. Now images of a prototype of the Adidas X Speedflow got leaked via @bootman.ie.
Prototypes of the Adidas X Speedflow soccer cleats have been teased by Son Heung Min, N'Golo Kante, Callum Hudson-Odoi and many other players. Thomas Müller was the latest athlete to test them.
Adidas X Speedflow Prototype Soccer Cleats
Totally black, these Adidas X Speedflow.1 boots got produced to be tested by pro players. They do not feature any Adidas brandings.
In terms of tech, these Adidas X Speedflow.1 football boots are similar but not identical to the final version, especially for the upper. For the new Adidas X Speedflow.1, Adidas has gone back to their 18.1/19.1 roots with many similarities to the popular silo of 2018-19.
Adidas has ditched the straight collar seen on the previous model and opted for a higher and more snug-fitted one as seen on the 18.1/19.1 model. The soleplate remains the same as the X ghosted.
Adidas X Speedflow 'Meteorite' - Red / Black / Solar Red
The outsole appears to be the same as the old Adidas X Ghosted. Adidas will likely not update the soleplate of the Adidas X Speedflow, even though pictures of a prototype of the Meteorite Pack Adidas X Speedflow come with a different outsole.
