H&M x Lover's F.C. Football Shirt Collection
Here are the football shirts made by H&M
The collection consists of kits used by both national teams and clubs in the 1990s with some fashion twist.
In place of the usual logos of kit makers and teams are now those of Lover's F.C. However, a lot of signature details of the original kits are present.
For example, the white Germany shirt is based on the nation's home kits of the early 90s with the Germany flag runs across the chest and sleeves.
Meanwhile, the green jersey almost stay true to the design of Nigeria's 1996 kit, the year that the Eagles won the Gold Medal at the Olympic.
Juventus is one of the clubs that are included in the H&M x Lover's F.C. collection. The look of the black and white striped shirt is based on their 92-93 season home kit.
H&M also includes a mash-up of club and nation, which is the orange shirt that is a combination of Netherland and Ajax Amsterdam's crazy 89-90 away jersey.
“H&M’s collaboration with Lover’s FC brings authenticity and creativity to street style this season, capturing the passion and energy of the beautiful game. It’s about the colours, the graphics and the relaxed silhouette of 90s-style football jerseys, perfect to mix into your spring and summer wardrobe,” - says Ross Lydon, Head of Menswear Design at H&M
Neal Heard, founder of Lover’s FC also expresses his enthusiasm for the collaboration: "Football and fashion have never been so closely linked, and this collaboration with H&M is a chance to explore their relationship. I first started Lover’s FC as a lover of football shirts, and it’s amazing to share this passion with fans of football and fashion around the world.”
