Neither Roma Nor An Esport Team - Cypriot Club Apollon Let 'Socios' Fans Vote For 2021-22 Home & Away Kits
Some days ago, we reported that one team sponsored by cryptocurrency ("fan token") platform Socios "will allow Fan Token holders to vote on the club's 2021 kits". Now it has been announced tat it will be leading Cypriot football club Apollon FC to let paying fans choose the home and away kit designs for the 2021-22 season.
Apollon reached the Europa League Group Stages on four occasions. According to Socios, they "made fan engagement history in October of last year when they asked their fans to pick the team for a friendly with local rivals Aris Limassol". However, that is not true as as United London FC were the first club to allow supporters voting on the starting XI, and that for every match.

Apollon FC 2021-22 Kit Vote
The 2021-22 Apollon FC kit options are all based on customized Puma teamwear shirts. $APL Fan Token holders can vote on three different home and three different away kit designs.
Fans can also create and vote for a message to be placed on the collar of the chosen shirts
Additionally, Fan Token owners will also have the opportunity to create and subsequently vote on a unique message to be placed on the collar of the chosen shirts through Socios.com.
