LEAKED: Nike Barcelona 21-22 Third Kit To Feature Gaudi-Inspired Design?

Update: Using all the leaked info available, we have created a "prediction" of the Barcelona 21-22 third kit. The final design could differ greatly but could be also very similar.

Antoni Gaudí was a Barcelona-born Catalan architect known as the greatest exponent of Catalan Modernism. Most of his work is located in Barcelona, including the Sagrada Família and the Park Güell (Güell park).

Barcelona 21-22 Third Kit To Feature Gaudi-Inspired Pattern?

As seen on leaked third kit stuff of Barça for the 2021-22 season, the Barça 21-22 third kit could come with a graphic pattern inspired by Gaudí's mosaic work on the main terrace of the Park Güell.

In fact, Nike's pattern directly takes elements from Gaudi's famous multicolored mosaic salamander, popularly known as "el drac" (the dragon). The color combo also reminds a bit of the mosaic dragon salamander.

However, everything is speculation as of today. It is not known if the pattern seen on the items of the FC Barcelona 21-22 3rd jersey collection will be used for the actual jersey or just for stuff like the pre-match shirt.
