All 20-21 A-League Football Kits - 3 'All-New' Small Brands - Kick-Off This Week

Since A-League kicked off yesterday with a 0-0 stalemate between Western United and Adelaide United we wanted to take a look at the most interesting aspect of the league: the jerseys. There is a lot to like about the A-League football shirts such as lesser-known suppliers, outstanding looks or unknown clubs.

A-League was established 2004 and is the most competitive soccer league in Australia and New Zealand (Wellington Phoenix). 12 teams compete in the league that usually runs from October until May. A finals series with 6 teams decides the winner of the league at the end of the season. There is no promotion or relegation possible.

2020-2021 A-League Kit Makers

In the 2020-21 season, 9 different brands make the jerseys for the 12 teams. The A-League features many small and new brands. All the big brands except Nike are also present, but Adidas and Puma both supply just one team.

Three kits are made by brands that are very unknown and more or less only active in Australia. Paladin Sports (Wellington Phoenix), UCAN (Adelaide United) and Apelle (Newcastle Jets).
