The Nike Brazil 2020 kits come with an exclusive kit typeface for the Brazil national team that pays tribute to the 1970 World Cup, just as the shirts.
Nike Brazil 2020 Kit Font
The font for the Nike Brazil 2020 jersey features a remarkable classic design that is closely inspired by the 1970 World Cup typeface. Nike's image do not feature names, but that is set to change in official games.
The Brazil 2020 World Cup font is actually the same as the regular Winner Compressed Bold typeface.
There is a little strange thing with the Brazil 1970 shirts and its numbers. Brazil "had two different shirt makers in 1970" - Athleta and Umbro, who used different fonts.
Brazil's kit font is inspired by the kit typeface used by Athleta for Brazil's 1970 kits. The Umbro 1970 Brazil kits featured a different typeface (via Mantos do Futebol).
On the shirt worn by Pelé, which is on display at the Museu do Futebol, at the Pacaembu stadium, in São Paulo, you can see Umbro's label, along with the number with its rounded style.
The Brazilian Football Confederation logo is on the bottom of the Nike Brazil 2020 kit numbers.
The typeface for the Nike Brazil 2020 kit will be debuted together with the kit in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers this month.
