Arsenal Keeper To Wear White Away Kit vs Wolves To Avoid Kit Clash
As revealed by the club via an official infographic, Arsenal will use their white away jersey against Wolverhampton Wanderers. It is officially called "GK 4".
The reason for Arsenal to use their away player jersey as keeper kit is to avoid a kit clash. Arsenal has three keeper kits - black, orange and green.
Black can not be used because of Wolverhampton Wanderers' home kit and its black elements, orange is too similar to Wolves' yellow, while the green is used by Wolverhampton Wanderers.
In fact, the green goalkeeper kit from Arsenal and Wolves is the same just with different logos - standard teamwear.
Arsenal had a blue keeper shirt last season, used against Wolves.
