Update: Back in November 2020 everything indicated that Sterling would seen be an official ambassador of American sportswear brand New Balance, but a lot has changed since then as the English-born Jamaican is wearing custom blacked-out Nike Phantom Venom boots right now. However, we want to take a closer look at the amazing completely custom New Balance cleats Sterling wore previously. Update: Raheem Sterling wore a blackout pair of what is expected to be the next-generation New Balance Furon V7 soccer cleat in yesterday's UEFA Champions League match against Olympiacos. A completely red version of the same boots was worn by Liverpool loanee Harvey Elliott last weekend.

Earlier this month, Sergio Ramos was spotted wearing blackout New Balance football boots. Now another high-profile player has been spotted with unbranded New Balance cleats, and this time even in an official match.

Sterling had been wearing blackout Nike Phantom VNM cleats since a few months. In May 2020, there were reports that Sterling looks set to sign with his club team's kit supplier Puma.

Sterling Wears Whiteout New Balance Furon v6 Boots In Champion League

Sterling laced up in a whiteout version of the New Balance Furon v6 football boots - there are no brandings visible, the sole plate is almost completely black.

There have been no rumors yet that Sterling could join New Balance, but the fact that he laced up in the brand's boots in an official match makes it relatively likely that he will sign a deal with New Balance.
