Portuguese League To Have To Search For New Name Sponsor
The Portuguese Primeira Liga will lose telecoms and pay-television broadcaster NOS as its title sponsor at the end of its contract, it has been announced these days.
NOS has been the league's title sponsor since 2015. The league is therefore called "Liga NOS".
Telecoms Company NOS To End Portuguese League Title Sponsorship In Summer 2021
NOS has decided not to renew its deal which expires at the end of the 2020-21 season.
The current NOS Portuguese League deal is reported to be worth €6m per season. It represents approximately 70 per cent of the league’s income.
