"We Are Your Fans": Stuttgart 19-20 Special Kit Released

German giants Stuttgart have unveiled a limited-edition special kit. The jersey, which is meant as a 'thank you' to all healthcare workers and everyone who has helped the figh against the coronavirus pandemic, will be worn in the Bundesliga 2 promotion clash against Hamburg on May 28.

Jako Stuttgart 19-20 Special Shirt

This is the new Jako Stuttgart special shirt for 2019-20.

Based on the club's trademark 'Brustring' look, the Jako Stuttgart 2019-2020 special jersey is black with a red chest band and a red crew-neck collar.

Different thank you messages appear inside the red chest ring, including „Wir sind Fans von Euch“ (We are your fans, worn by the team captain), „Danke für Eure Solidarität“ (thanks for your solidarity), „Danke an die Helden des Alltags“ (Thanks to the heroes of everyday life), „Danke für Eure Hilfe“ (thanks for your help).

Main sponsor Mercedes-Benz Bank takes a more subtle spot just above the chest band.

Only 500 shirts were available to buy but sold out in just a few hours. All proceeds will go to the club's 'VfBfairplay' foundation and to coronavirus-related projects specifically.

In addition to releasing this jersey, VfB Stuttgart has also provided 2,500 care packets to local medical workers.
