Children Entries Only - Hull City Ladies Start Competition To Design 20-21 Home Kit

Some weeks ago, the hand-drawn football kit by a young child made the waves on social media. Inspired by that, Hull City Ladies and its kit maker Hope & Glory announced that they are running a competition for children to design the home shirt for the 2020-21 season.

Entry for the Hull City Ladies 20-21 home kit competition is available for three age groups: + 5 –7 years, + 8 – 11 years,+ 12 – 16 years.

For the competition, Hull City Ladies created a white and black image of the kit featuring the logo of the club and the manufacturer Hope & Glory. The winner of the competition will have their shirt made & worn for the 2020-21 season.

Hull City Ladies also announced that the winner will receive a special delivery from Hull City Ladies, which will include a free replica shirt for themselves, mascot opportunities for them and their friends to attend a game as special guests. Plus, the winner will receive their story told and presented on our website and social media for 2020-21.

A panel of judges will select one winner from each age group to progress into the final three. Hope & Glory will then work up the finalists’ design to a full design visual. These will then be put to a public vote on Twitter.

Hull City Ladies also announced there are three main aspects that the design should have:

- Suggested colours to use: Amber, Orange, Grey, Black & White

- Text and creative designs can be added to any part of the shirt

- Research other football kit designs and the city of Hull for inspiration
