Produced In-House and Fan-Designed: EC Bahia 2020 Home & Away Kits Released

Bahia's new 2020-2021 home and away strips were officially launched by the Brazilian club on Thursday night. It's the second time that the club's own brand, Esquadrão handled the task of producing the uniforms.

For the second year in a row, the club asked its fans to submit their creations. In August, an internet poll featured the 5 finalists for in the home, away and third (will be launched later) categories. In total more than 1000 designs were submitted.

The curiosity is that both winners were from the same author, Bahia fan Michel Neuhaus, creative director of the Geometry Global agency and finalist in two categories last year, but without getting the award.

EC Bahia 2020-2021 Home Kit

This is the EC Bahia 2020 home shirt, made by Esquadrão.

Bahia's 2020-2021 home shirt features the club's trademark look of blue and red stripes with thin white stripes separating the blue.

There's much more blue, with just the two red stripes on the front and a bit of red on the sleeves. Gold trim adds a twist to the design of EC Bahia's 2020 home shirt.
