Stunning Fortuna Düsseldorf x Die Toten Hosen 19-20 Fourth Kit Released

Fortuna Düsseldorf, who currently sit in 14th place, today launched their fourth kit of the season. The Fortuna Düsseldorf 2019-20 special kit pays homage to the club's longstanding partnership with local band Die Toten Hosen.

It all started in the late 1980s when the band members, some of which had been supporters since their early childhood, decided to help out the club financially. They ended up giving one Deutsche Mark per ticket sold during their tour, which helped the club secure the signatures of two players.

In the early 2000s the club, playing in the third division at the time, found itself in financial woes once again. This time, Die Toten Hosen decided to become the shirt sponsor for two seasons, which led to massive sales and saw the club get better over time.

Düsseldorf's entire set this season is great, with the club's third kit even making our Top 10, and this is no different.

The special-edition Fortuna Düsseldorf x Die Toten Hosen jersey is predominantly black with a red-and-white hoop pattern - the jagged edges of the hoops represent the sound curve of the band's song "Alles aus Liebe", which is about the Fortuna Düsseldorf.

This is highlighted by a number of other smaller details all over the shirt. "Alles aus Liebe" as well as "F95" and "DTH" are printed on the inner neck band. "Alles aus Liebe" is embroidered on the back of the neck and there's also a special"F95 x DTH - Alles aus Liebe" jock tag on the right side.

Part of proceeds from the sales of the kit will be used to fund the Fortuna Düsseldorf youth teams.
