Real Madrid Women's Team Drop Club Logo After 9-1 Loss to Barcelona
Earlier this summer, Real Madrid announced that they would crate a women's team that will take part in the Spanish league from the 20-21 season.
Madrid-based CD Tacón, which already forms part of the league, will be re-branded as Real Madrid from next summer. Curiously, the team already used numbers with the Real Madrid crest in the Barcelona game, which was built up as the first women's Clásico and attracted two millions of viewers on TV in Spain.
Last weekend's game against Huelva, which they won 3-0, shows that the Real Madrid crest is already gone from the numbers, which are now simply black on white.
Perhaps the team needs some injection of quality before it's worth being officially linked to Real Madrid?
