Limited-Edition New Balance Furon v5 'Maguum' Sadio Mané Signature Boots Revealed
New Balance this morning unveiled a new signature edition of the Furon v5 football boots for Sadio Mané. Dubbed 'Maguum', the boots will be worn by Mané for the Africa Cup of Nations this summer.

The design of the latest NB Furon Mané boots is inspired by 'Maguum' is Wolof for 'Rise' in homage to the 'Simb of Senegal' - an artistic ritual that celebrates the transformation of a man into a lion.
They are predominantly white with a lion fur-inspired graphic, present mostly in the rear, as well as several Mané-exclusive details added all over. The lateal 'N' brandings feature an eye-catching red-orange gradient.
“I’m so proud to have a boot that celebrates my connection to my homeland. New Balance’s design team have done a fantastic job of creating a design that represents my football journey and my Senegalese heritage,” said Mané.
Tech-wise, the new Sadio Mané Furon v5 boots from New Balance are the same as all previous colorways.

Limited to 405 pairs, one for each kilometre travelled by Sadio from his hometown Bambaly to the Senegalese capital, Dakar, to attend his first football trials, the New Balance Furon v5 'Maguum' cleats will be available to buy from tomorrow, 18 June 2019.
