Blackpool Announces 'Exciting New Shirt Sponsorship Agreement'

English League One club Blackpool Football Club today announced "an exciting new principal sponsorship agreement". VisitBlackpool and the health campaign, GET VOCAL, will adorn the front of the club’s first-team and replica shirts. The Blackpool 19-20 kits will be again made by Errea in their last year of the current three-year deal signed signed in 2017.

Blackpool 2019-2020 Kits To Feature Local Sponsors

This innovative partnership, which has been agreed with Blackpool Council for the 2019/20 season, will help benefit and promote tourism in the town and provide a platform to support the health of the local community.

The logo of VisitBlackpool, which is the tourism arm of Blackpool Council, showcasing the UK’s most popular holiday destination and its world-class attractions, will feature on the front of the new home shirt.

GET VOCAL, a local mental health campaign which aims to improve the wellbeing of residents in the community, will feature on the new away shirt.

Michael Bolingbroke, Executive Chairman of Blackpool FC, said:

This is a ground-breaking moment that brings Blackpool Football Club right back to the heart of its town and community. We have a social responsibility to support the area, its businesses, attractions and people, as well as market the town to a wider audience."

“Blackpool Football Club is a really important part of community life and this innovative partnership has the potential to rebuild civic pride in Blackpool as a town, and as a football club, and to celebrate our unique heritage as the birthplace of popular tourism.”

The new Blackpool 19-20 home and away kits are set to be released in July 2019. The design of the away kit has been voted for by supporters and will be revealed when the club launches its new kits.
