Goodbye Nike? Boca Juniors Officially Opens Bidding For New Kit Deal
In April 2019, rumors from Argentina emerged that Adidas is set to replace Nike as kit supplier of Boca Juniors from 2020. Now the Argentine club released a statement in which opens bidding for new supplier of sporting goods (kits) from next season.

Boca Juniors Releases Statement That Opens Bidding For New Kit Deal
In the statement released, Boca Juniors calls for "first level" companies of sports equipment that can supply both the Argentine market and the international market, to initiate talks for an eventual sponsorship agreement.
Boca also states that this initiative aims to optimize the performance of its contracts through transparent business processes that bring better benefits to the institution.
Nike Has Priority To Match Any Bid To Keep Boca Juniors Kit Maker
Renewal talks with Nike have not progressed so far, but it is worth pointing out that the US supplier has priority to match any bid made by competitors until December this year.

In the Argentine press, it is reported that Boca Juniors' latest movement was mainly made to incerase pressure on Nike to put more money on the negotiating table.
