Nike SC Internacional 19-20 Home & Away Kits Released
The new Nike-produced SC Internacional 19-20 home and away kits were released today, confirming the previous leaks. Out of the two, the new home shirt has a clear retro inspiration behind its design, with the away being more modern.
SC Internacional 19-20 Home Kit
This is the Nike Internacional 2019-2020 home shirt.
Based on the new Nike template, the Internacional home jersey has a very understated look to it all around. Predominantly red, the front part of the collar and the sleeve cuffs are white, as is the back neck panel. There are no other design elements or patterns present.
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Internacional's 1979 unbeaten Brazilian League title, the jersey features the same badge that was used in the 1980 season. Following the 1979 title, a laurel wreath and three stars, commemorating Inter's three league titles, were added to the kit. The club haven't won the league since.
Internacional 19-20 Away Kit
This picture shows the SC Internacional 2019-20 away shirt.
The away jersey is white with a red sash from the bottom left to top right, with a thinner stripe placed just below it.
The design is very clean otherwise, based on the same template as the home. Although the neck tape stands out on the Internacional 2019-2020 away shirt as it's yellow, red and green - the colors of Rio Grande do Sul, Internacional's home state.
