Banks, who represented England 73 times and won the World Cup in 1966, played 194 games for Stoke between 1967 and 1973. He will now be honored by the club's current #1 Butland, who also is an England keeper.
The Stoke City Gordon Banks tribute kit is as classic as it gets. It comes in Banks' trademark green and does not feature any badge, sponsor or name - just like in the old days.
A small text on the bottom left just above the hem remember Banks, while only the shirt number can be seen on the back.
The shirt has a traditional collar and directly ties to the jerseys worn by Banks in his playing days.
White shorts and socks complete the kit.
Jack Butland will wear the kit in the Championship game between Stoke and Aston Villa tomorrow.
