The reason for FC Cincinnati's kits to feature only Adidas second-best technology is that they "didn’t have enough lead time to have “authentic” quality jerseys developed. They are “replica” quality, but are the exact same jerseys that the team will wear."

In fact, the FC Cincinnati 2019 home kit is a mi Team jersey, while the away jersey is even just the standard Adidas Condivo 18 in white and black. Both kits come with Climate (second-best, replica technology) instead of Climachill (authentic, Adidas' best kit technology).
FC Cincinnati is only selling "replica-quality" versions of their first-ever MLS home kit. The away kit is not available yet.
